We are still working through the lengthy guidance which was sent by government on Tuesday 4th May, giving care homes little notice to implement it safely.
As The Guardian has reported, care homes also need assurances that they will be covered by insurance for the risk of visitors being allowed on site, which commercial insurance firms are reluctant to provide.
Until the guidance has been fully reviewed and safety measures put in place, we will be following the procedure we launched previously and our garden visiting pods remain open for visits whatever the weather!
