It's been a busy few months at Palms Row Health Care and March seems to have flown by in the blink of an eye, so it's great to look back and take stock.
International Women's Day
On 8th March we embraced equity on International Women's Day, taking the opportunity to recognise and amplify the many achievements of our wonderful female staff and residents. It was wonderful to hear our residents sharing stories about their lives. And as a heavily female-dominated industry, we were keen to celebrate the many sacrifices our carers make and the vital role they play in the lives of our residents and their families.
St. Patrick's Day
We enjoy celebrating our national saints' days and 17th March is always particularly popular. Our homes pulled out all the stops with Irish-themed activities, decorations and menus - great fun all round!
Mother's Day
Hot on the heels of St. Patrick came Mothering Sunday. We were delighted to come together to enjoy special menus, cakes and prosecco in celebration of our many mothers, grandmothers and great grandmothers. It's such a special day and never fails to raise all our spirits.
Looking forward
Now the clocks have gone forwards, we're all looking forward to bidding farewell to this miserable weather so we can start to enjoy our beautiful gardens again. Our Easter activities are well underway and our Easter raffles are up and running. Bring on Spring!
