Visiting to be stopped from today 25th March 2020.
Following the latest statement from the Prime Minister and as part of the ongoing COVID-19 planning, we have decided to stop all visiting across our homes as of today.
We have not taken this decision lightly and stress this measure would not be taken if we didn’t feel it absolutely necessary to protect the public, our residents and staff. One visitor may be allowed in exceptional circumstances and this will be agreed with the Home Manager/Nurse in charge following a discussion with the resident and/or their loved one.
The changes will take effect from today and updated posters will be printed and displayed asap.
We will be sending out a media release today, updating our website and sending messages out on our Facebook and Twitter channels.
